This landing page is the future site of the Database of Canadian Prevention Initiatives. Ultimately, the database will include Canadian prevention initiatives that successfully meet the national standards of excellence outlined in the Canadian Standards for Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Portfolio.
Version 2.0 of the first-ever national standards, entitled Building on Our Strengths: Canadian Standards for School-based Youth Substance Abuse Prevention, was released on June 17, 2010. The database will be populated as initiatives begin to adopt these standards.
